Mr. Reed, my name is Kimberly Perry and I live in DN 32. I have three children, one in ES, one in MS and one in HS. I fully support Plan 12. It balances the student numbers much more reasonably, especially at the middle school level and gives stability to the communities that are well established. The student numbers in Plan 11, around 138% capacity at Eagle Ridge, are unacceptable. Thank you for your continued hard work.

Dear Mr. Reed

I am a resident of DN 44.1. I have one son in 8th grade at Eagle Ridge. I know you have heard every argument that both sides have. I would like to put aside the points of which neighborhood owns BWHS. The reality is that both schools, BWHS and HS-6 are excellent, they have to be, we are in Loudoun County. I think the real problem with Plan 11 is the burden it puts on the ERMS. The middle school years are the hardest years and to have numbers as high as 141% is crazy. I realize that all middle schools will be over crowded but let's try to make them small as humanly possibly.

My other issue is the stabilization of communities that are completely built out. Plan 12 allows 100% of the students from the Broadlands community to fit into BWHS and still have 60% of the capacity remaining. If you move us to HS-6 it is inevitable that we will be moved again when Brambleton and Loudoun Valley Estates is completely built up. Brambleton is going to have to split and move again when they are finished building. We are done growing. Brambleton is not stable but we are.

Thank you so much for the tireless and often thankless job you do.

Patti Bottcher

Thank you for all of your hard work.

My name is Patti Bottcher, I live in DN 30 and I have a 10th grader at Briar Woods and an 8th grader at Eagle Ridge.

As a Broadlands resident I fully support Plan 12 as it does the best job of stabilizing established neighborhoods for the long-term. The enrollment numbers are reasonable and it is a plan that is supported by many other communities, both large and small, in Ashburn.

Thank you once again for your time and service!

Thank you for your hard work and time to date and for the even more upcoming challenging decisions on the "Bs." I am a resident of DN20. I ask you to support plan 12 as it provides a contiguous boundary zone for the most number of communities while maintaining the best capacity at all schools.

Heather Kircher

As a Leesburg resident our students are not directly impacted by the Ashburn boundary. However, as you know, last year we did endure the boundary process for Leesburg elementary schools. As taxpayers I support plan #12 that has contiguous boundaries and is the best long term solution for the most number of communities within Ashburn” Thank you.

My family appreciates all your hard work and dedication. We live in DN 32 and want to remain at BWHS. We fully support Plan 12 and hope you will consider this in your vote. Thank You :)

Mr. Reed,
Thank you for your time and efforts during this arduous process. I am resident of DN30 with four children currently attending Hillside, ERMS, and BWHS. I believe in keeping our community together as much as possible with minimal overcrowding and further disruption. As such, I support Plan 12. Thank you.

Peter Hooper

Dear Mr Reed,
I would first like to sincerely thank you for all of your time and effort that you have dedicated to our outstanding community. Your service to our community makes it what it is today.
My name is Peter Hooper and I reside in DN30. My wife and I have 4 children in the school system; a 6th grader in ERMS, an 8th grader in ERMS and a 10th and 12th grader in BWHS. I would like to express my strong support for plan #12 that has finally addressed the contiguous boundary zones for the most number of communities. I believe this plan #12 will also maintain the most ideal capacities at all schools. Again, thank you kindly for your service and good luck to you during these difficult decisions.
Best Regards,
Peter Hooper

Mr. Reed I live in DN 32.2 The Village of Waxpool and I do not support plan 11! With all the hard work of moving our small community back into Mill Run ES this seems to violate the very policies set out by the School Board. I support all plans that support cluster alignment, congruent neighborhoods, proximity and lowering attendance levels. Thank you for all your hard work!

Jill Friedrich

Mr. Reed, I live in DN 32.2 The Village of Waxpool and I do not support plan 11. Plan 11 is being touted as providing stability for the children at Mill Run & Hillside but how does putting communities (DN's) on an island provide stability? In the fall during the ES boundary process board members were sensitive to putting any DN on an island for the reason that it would provide instability because the DN's were not congruent. There is explosive growth in Ashburn south of Ryan Rd and there will be no new MS or HS slated for the north so the population is going to flow south and until the south stops growing they will have instability just like the north had. There is alot of noise out there please make your decisions based on cluster alignment, congruent neighborhoods, proximity and lowering attendance levels. Thank you for listening and for your hard work.

Alison Mooney

Mr. Reed, I enjoyed meeting you when we were both having our cars serviced at Honda in Dulles. I appreciated your candor and sensitivity to our community's issues. I live in DN 32.2, The Village of Waxpool and I support Plan 12 and I encourage you to support the very policies set out by the School Board. I support all plans that encourage cluster alignment, congruent neighborhoods, proximity and lowering attendance levels. Thank you for all your hard work!

Mr. Reed, Thank you for your hard work and dedication during this process. I live in 32.2, the Village of Waxpool, and I oppose Plan 11. First, it creates completely avoidable non-contiguous boundaries. Second, it puts the Broadlands, VOW and DN50 at risk of being once again forced out of a school once LVE and Moorefield Station are built out. Third, it doesn't respect the feeder system that was envisioned during the elementary school boundary process. For these and many other reasons, please oppose plan 11. Thank you.
