Heritage High School Planning Year End Events

The HHS PTSO is busy planning our end of year events and we need your help! Please read below for more details concerning donation and volunteer opportunities.

DONATION REQUEST

The PTSO will be holding its annual Teacher Appreciation Luncheon on Friday, April 30^th. As a thank you to the teachers/staff, we will be collecting $5 gift cards to raffle off during the luncheon. If you would like to donate $5 gift cards (i.e., Target, WalMart, Starbucks, Sheetz, McDonalds, 7 Eleven, ANY type is appreciated!), please drop them off in the Main Office in an envelope marked “HHS PTSO”. If you’d prefer that we shop for you, you’re welcome to send in a check made payable to “HHS PTSO” with “Teacher Luncheon” in the Memo field. All gift cards and donations should be turned in by end of day on Thursday, 4/29. Thank you in advance for your support! The teachers and staff really do appreciate this annual tradition!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

The PTSO offers daily copying service to teachers that are current PTSO members. We are running short on volunteers this spring and are seeking new people to help out with this effort. This is a great volunteer opportunity for a parent/guardian who has some free time anytime after 4PM during the week or someone who has a student in a spring sport who can show up a little early to make copies before picking up their student. Unfortunately due to the nature of the materials being copied, students are not able to be considered for this volunteer opportunity and are not allowed in the copy room while the copies are being made. The copier is located in the room next to the main office and copying requests will be in a box next to the machine. This is a service that the staff greatly appreciates so we really need to find volunteers to fill in the gaps. If you are interested in getting on the schedule to make copies through the end of the school year, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Lori Brodbeck at marmic00@verizon.net.
